Hey all! Welcome to my blog for the Valentine’s Blog Hop brought to you by Release Day Diva!
I want to tell you the worst Valentine’s Day I ever had! Keep in mind that my birthday is the day after…February 15th.
Anywho, I go out on a date with a guy… I don’t even remember where we went. I had been out with him before–played poker with him down the street at a mutual friend’s house many times, he had cooked me dinner at his house once…anyway, after the date, he called me and told me that he was still not over his dead girlfriend and couldn’t date anyone. I was so confused and not to say I am mean but the girlfriend died years prior. I get that he was sad because it was Valentine’s day but yeah that sucked. Needless to say, I was single for my birthday! Hmmm I wonder what happened to that guy?
Now I know you want to tell me your worst or best Valentine’s Day story right??? Enter to win an ecopy of my book Where I Need to Be below! Raffle is from February 10th 12:00 a.m. PST to February 17th 12:00 a.m. PST. So go enter!
And don’t forget to follow the hop!

Best Valentines – My hubby surprised me with a weekend getaway. He arranged the entire trip, events and most important had taken care of arrangements for our kids. It was so relaxing and romantic!
Worst Valentines – (long before I was married) On our Valentines date during the middle of dinner my date and I broke up. It would have been fine except we were about an hour from my house and the ride home was annoying!
Glad your worst was before your best 😉
Worst Valentine Date…. 🙁 I have never been on one!
Obviously the Universe is saving the best one for when I can Handle it!!!!
Eh just another day. You need to find the guy that will make it perfect though!
Worst date: was when hubby pretended to not remember and had me in tears thinking he didn’t care only to find out he was surprising me with roses truffles and a teddy bear…. so it wasn’t all bad…
Best date: was when he came into where I was working and sang Our song “Look At You Girl” in front of the whole store holding a dozen roses!!!! That man does not have a romantic bone in his body so This was HUGE and also the last time he did anything this romantic….

My husband isn’t romantic either 🙁
Worst when I was dating a soldier who was stationed overseas…we were trying to get to talk to each other and could not make it happen.
Best my husband sent me flowers to work, took me out to dinner and had my MIL keep the kids overnight.
Glad it all worked out 🙂
ihate valentines day i dont have luck with man at all and the first and last time i when on a valentines day was with a guy that i like when we got to the retaurant we where not there not even for 15 minutes when his ex showed up telling him that she forgave him once she left he excuse himself to go the restroom and he never came back to the table the waiter came to tell me taht he left with the ex and he left me there at the restaurant by my self i end up walking home that was my first and last valentines day for me
Wow, that is horrible! So sorry 🙁
yea ever since that i been staying home
Worst: Isn’t actually all that bad lol. But i had went all out for Valentine’s Day and spent like $75 on my boyfriend. Well all he got me was a card. And it wasnt even a nice card. I think it just said like a sentence and he signed it. That’s it. pissed me off. LOL. I cried. But then i felt bad for being upset over something so silly! lol.
Best: Here’s the story…
Well… I woke up that day and got ready and received a phone call form Tim. He asked me if I would come over. This was strange to me because he usually was the one to pick me up. He also told me to text him when I was leaving my house. So I did. I got in my car and headed to his house. Except he wasn’t there when I arrived. Confused, I went inside. On the couch in his front room was a couple roses as well as a pink piece of paper. I opened it up and it read “Remember when was talked on the computer all night?” I was confused… So i asked his dad. He told me that I better go back to my house since that’s where my computer is. I quickly got back into my car and drove back to my house. Again, Tim wasn’t there. So i got out and went inside. My parents were holding more roses for me and pointed towards the computer where there was another pink piece of paper. It read “Remember where we first kissed?” Now that I knew what I was suppose to do- I hopped back in my car and drive BACK to his house. More roses, another piece of paper saying “Remember where I first got your number?” Jumping in my car again, getting more and more exciting, I drove to the school where we met at a festival. Underneath the bleachers were more roses and (you guessed it) another pink paper. This one said, “Remember where we hung out for the first time (After my brothers graduation)” I’m glad he included that because I would have never guessed. He even put a little note saying “Call my dad if you need direction” because everyone knows I am NOT good with directions. So I showed up at the local DQ and there he was waiting by his big read truck, all dressed up holding roses and jewelry box! He had gotten me the most beautiful necklace ever! It had a heart pendant with little diamond in it.
Wow…sounds like a book boyfriend! Are you still together?
Worst was finding out a previous partner cheated… He went with a lady who was my co workers next door neighbour… Is he obviously mentioned seeing him the following morning which was valentines day but he told me he was somewhere else. I confronted him and he denied being anywhere near the address…. He even had the nerve to come to my work to sort things out – not realising it was a co worker who had seen him and he’d seen her. When she appeared his jaw hit the fall and he knew he’d been caught out!!
Best was being proposed to by my hubby 🙂 although it wasn’t very romantic…. There was no down on one knee. He hid the ring in my pudding and I nearly broke a tooth!!
the worst valentines day was a date I had before I met my husband. I went out to dinner with a friend of a friend. He was a very nice guy but when he took me home and kissed me good night he came at me and it was the worst kiss I have ever had. And it went on and on and all I could envision was a sucker fish comeing at me over and over. I was so grossed out. :p Lucky I met my future husband after that and he is a great kisser!
my best date is every year with my husband because he always makes it special for me. He always makes me dinner and depending on finances he will get some sort of personal prize. He is very good to me.
Worst valentines day: This one to come. My fiance and I live in separate states because of college….So not only have I not seen her face or heard her voice for months, I won’t even get to see the woman I love on Valentine’s Day.
thanks for share...
